Delete Your Account

GoodFellow allows you to delete your account and all associated data directly from the app.

How to Delete Your Account

1. Open the GoodFellow app on your device
2. Go to your Profile tab
3. Tap Settings (gear icon)
4. Scroll down and tap "Delete Account"
5. Choose one of the following options:
   • Deactivate Only — Your profile is hidden but your data is preserved for future reactivation
   • Delete Everything — Permanently removes your account and all data
6. Confirm your choice

What Data Is Deleted

When you choose "Delete Everything", the following data is permanently removed within 30 days:

• Your profile information (name, username, bio, profile photo)
• Your phone number
• All messages you sent in table group chats
• All tables you created
• Your reputation score and badges
• Your emergency contact information
• Your Firebase push notification token

What Data May Be Retained

• Anonymized, aggregated analytics data (not linked to your identity)
• Data required to be retained by law or to resolve disputes
